Who Operates This Site

Medical Alert Review is a Kindred Works LLC property. Kindred Works LLC participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, and may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on this site. Commissions never influence our rankings or recommendations.

How We Earn Commissions

This site is reader-supported. When you follow a link to a retailer or service provider and make a purchase, we may receive a referral fee. This does not change what you pay. The provider or retailer pays the fee; it comes out of their marketing budget, not your pocket.

As of the date at the top of this page, we are enrolled in these affiliate programs:

  • Amazon Associates: as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our Associates tag is medicalalertreviews-20. Every Amazon link on this site carries that tag.
  • SKRT Mobility, through Impact: approved 20 September 2026. SKRT sells mobility scooters. Its links appear on Mobility Scooters for Seniors and nowhere else on this site.
  • BistroMD, formerly Silver Cuisine, through Impact: approved 20 September 2026. The contract was signed as Silver Cuisine, whose own service has since closed; orders now run through its parent brand BistroMD. Its links appear on Meal Delivery for Seniors and nowhere else. Every other meal service named on that page is linked without any commercial relationship.
  • Audien Hearing and Oricle, through Impact: both programs showed as active in our Impact account on 1 October 2026. Both sell over-the-counter hearing aids. Their links appear on Hearing Aid Cost and OTC vs Prescription Hearing Aids. HearDirectClub and CEARVOL, shown beside them, are linked without any commercial relationship.
  • Medical Care Alert, through Impact: the program showed as active in our Impact account on 1 October 2026. Its link appears in the price-verification list on Medical Alert Cost Comparison and nowhere else. We have not reviewed or scored Medical Care Alert.
  • Mutual of Omaha, through Impact:the program showed as active in our Impact account on 1 October 2026. Its link goes to Mutual of Omaha’s Medicare Supplement plans and appears on Does Medicare Cover Medical Alert Systems? and nowhere else.

Medical alert provider programs: one.Medical Care Alert, listed above, is the one medical alert provider whose program has accepted us. The buttons and links that go to Medical Guardian, Bay Alarm Medical, Lifeline, MobileHelp, Lively, LogicMark, ADT Health and Life Alert are plain links to each brand’s own website. They are not tracked and they earn us nothing today. We are applying to the programs these brands run. If one approves us, we will replace that brand’s link with a tracked affiliate link and update this page on the same day. Life Alert and LogicMark run no publisher program at all, so those links are never going to earn anything.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

Commissions never move a score. Our ratings are set by a published scoring rubric (see How We Evaluate) and applied the same way to every product regardless of whether we earn a commission, a larger commission, or no commission at all.

We do not accept payment, free equipment, or other consideration from providers in exchange for favorable placement, a higher score, or a positive review. If that policy ever changed, we would say so clearly on the relevant page.

Life Alert, which carries no affiliate program, is reviewed on the same basis as every other provider. Our top pick is Medical Guardian and our best-value pick is Bay Alarm Medical because the rubric says so, not because of commission rates.

How Disclosures Appear on Pages

Every page that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure at the point of the link. You will see language such as:

  • In the site footer: “Independent and reader-supported. If you buy through a link we may earn a fee, at no extra cost to you. Fees never move a score.”
  • Directly under affiliate call-to-action buttons: “Affiliate link. It never changes this score.” or “If you buy through this link we may earn a commission; it never changes our ratings.”
