Who Operates This Site

Medical Alert Review is a Kindred Works LLC property. How We Earn Commissions

This site is reader-supported. When you follow a link to a retailer or service provider and make a purchase, we may receive a referral fee. This does not change what you pay. The provider or retailer pays the fee; it comes out of their marketing budget, not your pocket.

We participate in the following programs:

  • Amazon Associates: as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our Associates tag is medicalalertreviews-20.
  • Medical alert provider programs: we may participate in affiliate programs operated by providers such as Medical Guardian, Bay Alarm Medical, Lifeline, MobileHelp, Lively, LogicMark, and ADT Health. Links to those providers may be tracked affiliate links.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

Commissions never move a score. Our ratings are set by a published scoring rubric (see How We Evaluate) and applied the same way to every product regardless of whether we earn a commission, a larger commission, or no commission at all.

We do not accept payment, free equipment, or other consideration from providers in exchange for favorable placement, a higher score, or a positive review. If that policy ever changed, we would say so clearly on the relevant page.

Life Alert, which carries no affiliate program, is reviewed on the same basis as every other provider. Our top pick is Medical Guardian and our best-value pick is Bay Alarm Medical because the rubric says so, not because of commission rates.

How Disclosures Appear on Pages

Every page that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure at the point of the link. You will see language such as:

  • In the site footer: “Independent and reader-supported. If you buy through a link we may earn a fee, at no extra cost to you. Fees never move a score.”
  • Directly under affiliate call-to-action buttons: “Affiliate link. It never changes this score.” or “If you buy through this link we may earn a commission; it never changes our ratings.”
